PROJECT '69 BRONCO updated 3/07/06

Custom high performance rebuild and construction of an early Bronco

After mild building stage - Before the major rebuild to create the "Rock Hammer"

The Bronco will be kept very streetable to travel anywhere it needs and hammer on the rocks!

Start of full rebuild by West Coast Broncos

Frame grinded, ready for paint.

New extended radius arms (with heim joints) from West Coast Broncos installed

After complete grinding and painting of frame and axles. 23 Gallon gas tank installed
5.5 inch rock crawler coils installed

Radius arms, track bar and brackets installed and painted

New disc brakes installed on Dana 44

Tranny cleaned painted and installed along with transfer case

Notice the Advance Adapter's tail housing added to a standard tranny to adapt to the Dana 20 transfer case

Deep tranny pan with cooling fins is from B&M

Engine will be rebuilt next

Rear shocks moved inboard on new cross bar

Tub mounted to frame, almost everything under tub is new.

Currently 5.5" Wild Horses coils with 2" body lift on 33" Mud Terrains

Chrome headers & valve covers

Heavy duty alternator and starter

Heads ported

Firewall cleaned and painted

Hi flow water pump

Unilite distributor

New power brake setup installed and rock crawler steering box
Tub has been sprayed with bedliner
Hoops started, not yet painted
Crossover bar installed, framework started for frontend support

New 302 Hyd roller motor installed with Edelbrock heads
