For 2015 the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 is the most powerful production car ever produced from General Motors. The 2015 Z06 has a base price of $78,995, the convertible’s base price is $83,995. While that may not be affordable for many, it is definetly a deal over its competitors.
The Corvette has often been compared to the pride of Germany, the Porsche 911. The most powerful 911 is the Turbo S rated at 560 hp and 516 lb-ft and costs $182,000, while the Z06 costs less than half and is rated at 650 hp and 650 lb-ft. Now that sounds like a value there.
Here is a chart for comparison, when we get complete road tests results, we’ll add skidpad rating to the chart. While the Dodge Challenger Hellcat is the best HP/Dollar value, it can’t compete on a road course and we wanted to add for those looking for Raw Horsepower.
